Vitesse had a fine start, and were leaders in the Eredivisie for a short while. But after that some dissapointing results followed, leading to the current 7th place.

Willem II has the same problem as Vitesse, and their scoring ability is even smaller. They're standing on the 13th place, scoring 4 goals in 8 matches.

Away from home, Willem II has failed to score all 4 matches. Must be said they already played PSV and Feyenoord. But still scoring problems are big. Striker Poepon, hired from Ajax since december last year, is still waiting on his first goal in the Eredivisie.

Also the other strikers are no goalscoring machines, Frank Demouge scored totally 15 goals in 77 Eredivisie-matches and Cristiano is still not 100% fit. Now the loss of Mounir El Hamdaoui to AZ is troubling them.

Midfielder Boutahar and winger Kevin Bobson return from suspension, and there are now knew injuries after last week.

The Verdict :

It's obvious both teams have trouble with scoring. For Willem II it's even a structural problem. All 4 home games of Vitesse ended low-scoring, all under 2,5 goals. Willem II played 4 away matches, 3 were under 2,5 goals, the exception being the 3-0 loss against PSV.

The Dutch Eredivisie is known for the high-scoring result, many of the matches ending far over 2,5 goals. That's the only reason why the price for under 2,5 goals is available at evens.

The main objective for Willem II will be defending, and I feel Vitesse still don't have the scoring power to score more then 2 goals.
